Ganondoff raises his hands and summons an bolt of Lighting to hit Link, "Take this, you won't be here to see anymore after this." Link sees it coming and raises his sword... But being metal it conducts it and hits him anyway. "Foolish boy don't you know what happens when you hold up metal to Lighting, it doesn't help any." "Yea I do, and do you know what can happen when I hit you with the Master Sword," Link unsheathed his sword and jumps at Gannon. He falls to the ground, unmoving. Then he swings his sword across the ground. Seeing this Link jumps and pulls out his Crossbow, he shoots some arrows at Ganondoff. He starts spinning his spear, some of the arrows bounce, but the others hit. Ganondof smiles as he pulls the arrows out of his body and throws them into the air, they come down around Link. Link looks around as more lightning comes down. "Wait that's not lighting... It's red." Link turns on a device on his arm and a glowing light surrounds him. Before the smoke had cleared Link had his bow at the ready and shot four arrows at Ganondoff, he once again spun his spear and two arrows hit him Again he take the arrows out and throws them around Link and casts the same spell. Link is ready this time and jumps out of the way... As he jumps the edge spell hit him and blows him back against a cliff. Link hears a voice call his name and looks around, it's Ruto and she throws a bottle of potion to him, he catches it and drinks it. He feel the energy run threw him he, he readies his bow and shoots four more arrows at Gannon. Ganondof jumps out of the way and stabs Link threw the arm with his spear. Link sees arrows come out from behind him, he looks around to see where it had come from and sees Ruto loading more arrows into her bow. Gannon spun his spear and this time none his him. Following Ruto, Link shot at Gannon, he spun his spear and like Ruto's arrows they all missed. Gannon sends a bolt of lighting at Link hitting him in the chest. Seeing this Ruto sends more arrows at Gannon, he sends them at Link, they miss by barley an inch. Link does the same thing and shoots arrows at Gannon, they hit him square in the chest. Link hears a roar as Zabuza kills the dragon he was battling. He looks back at Gannon to see him on his knees, "Dragon... Help me." Seeing that the dragon was dead, he knew he was defeated. Zabuza joined Link and pinned down Gannon. "I thought you would never kill an unarmed pioneer?" Gannon laughed. Link pick up Ganondof's spear and stabs him threw the leg, "Now your armed." Link raises his sword for the final blow and brings it down... CLANG The sword shatters the rock Gannon had been on. "NO, I was so close!" He swings at the cliff next to him and it crumbles, out of the rubble he sees a pair of Silver Gloves, he picks them up and and puts them in his bag. "Okay you guys... Let's go get Gannon, and end his terror on Hyrule."
OOC: Okay I get the Silver Gloves and 2 levels. I gain 100hp and I also add 40 to both Self-Control and Determination, which gives me another level for all stats being over 200. So I get 50hp out of that and I put 20 to Power and Magic.

After the battle Link stood looking at the Master Sword. "What's wrong Link?" Said Ruto's voice from behind him. "It's nothing." "Come on you can tell me." "I said it was nothing." "Is it about Zabuza?" "No... Not him." "Ganondof?" "No, not him." "Zelda?" ".......Yea." "What's wrong?" "Ganondof said she was still alive... I don't think she is." "Why not." "I just don't think she is." "Link it's okay." "No it's not... I'm going to the Temple of Time." "What you can't." "I need some questions answered, you and Zabuza can come if you want." "Okay I'll go tell him."
OOC: Okay Zabuza you can continue this.

The group of adventurers traveled down the rocky mountain path. It was slow going for Link's horse Epona, and Zabuza found that he had to hold his Chocobo back considerably so Link could keep up. Naturally, he was quite bored by the time they reached the base of Death Mountain. Farther up ahead he could see a small village. In the bright afternoon sun it seemed a calm, peaceful place.
When they finally arrived, they found the place to be anything but peaceful. Men ran back and forth carrying tools and building materials. It soon became evident that they were attempting to fortify the town. Link. Zabuza, and Ruto didn't need any help figuring out why. Everyone seemed quite nervous, and they eyed Zabuza warily.
Link rode his horse through the town slowly, deep in thought. As he did so, familiar people began to yell greetings at him. "Hey, Link, good to see you!", yelled one man. "Link! He will defeat Ganondorf again for sure!" Link smiled sadly and waved at the crowd half-heartedly "What's the matter Link?", asked Ruto. She had been quite concerned for the young Hylian since the battle with Ganondorf. "It's nothing.", he replied. "Come on, I know it's something with the way you're looking." "Ok, I will rephrase it. It's nothing that needs to be spoken of in public." "Oh, right.", she said. The travelers continued on through the small town until they reached the exit. When they did so, Zabuza turned his Chocobo around and faced Link. "Before we leave this village, we should pick up some supplies. I will meet you back here in an hour.", said Zabuza. With that, the Ninja dismounted from his Chocobo and walked back into the village, leaving Ruto and Link at the exit.
After a few minutes of exploring, Zabuza found a shop that had a bow on it's sign. Assuming that it was a weapon shop, then ninja went on in. "Good afternoon to you sir! Would you like to try your hand at the archery game?", said the burly owner. Zabuza looked around and realized that he had, indeed, come to the wrong shop. This was some sort of shooting range. "No thanks, I never like the bow much." "That's ok.", said the man. "We have some other things you could use. Would you like to use some of our throwing weapons instead?", asked the proprietor. Zabuza paused and thought about this for a moment. It had been a long time since he had used his kunai, and he was out of practice. "I suppose I can try...how much does it cost?" "Well, that depends. If you get all of the targets, you actually gain money. If you get all but one, the match is free. Anything less and you lose money, depending on your score." Confident in his abilities, Zabuza nodded his head and stepped forward toward the shooting range. The burly owner walked over and handed Zabuza a stack of throwing knives. Zabuza picked up one and tested it's balance. It wasn't the best he had ever felt, but it was good enough. "Ok, when you're ready, I will pop up the targets. Just tell me when." "I am ready.", said Zabuza. He set the knives on the counter in front of him and picked one up. There was a click, and the first target flew by far faster than Zabuza had expected. He saved his knife, knowing that there was no way he would be able to hit it once it got past him. With a rapid series of clicks, the next few targets popped up. Zabuza threw the knives with deadly accuracy, knocking he targets down. They came quite fast indeed, but he was ready for them. Soon all of the targets were gone, and he had only one knife left. "Very good! You managed to break even! Would you like to try again to see if you can do better?" "No. I have to leave now. I might come back some other day." "Well all right then, come back any time."
A few minutes later, Zabuza met up with Link and Ruto at the edge of town. They were sitting there silently, waiting on him. "I trust you got everything you need.", said Zabuza. The ninja jumped into the saddle on his Chocobo and reached a hand down to Ruto. She climbed into the saddle behind him, and Link mounted his horse Epona. "So, where to now?", asked Zabuza. "Well.", said Link. "We should probably head to Gerudo Valley and see if they can offer us any help against Ganondorf." "Right then. Let's go!", said Ruto.
OOC: Sorry it took so long to get this up. Take it from here Link.

"Before we leave this village, we should pick up some supplies. I will meet you back here in an hour.", said Zabuza. Link and Ruto nodded and watched Zabuza leave. "So now can you tell me what was bothering you?" Ruto said, "You said it was nothing to be said in public." "Okay I'll tell you. It's about Ganondof, I couldn't stand to let him go, but I did." "Link, you didn't have any choice." "Yes I did, while I talked to him, I could have killed him." "Link... You're get him next time, with me and Zabuza, And we'll get Zelda back." "She's dead." "What do you mean, Ganondof said she was alive." "I know, she's not. Ganondof lied." "Link, it's okay we'll get back at him." "We won't... I will, it's my battle, not yours." "I know but we fight together." "..... Well I guess..." "Zabuza is strong, he'll help." "You like Zabuza don't you." "Yea, his a good friend." "No, I mean more then a friend." "Well, kinda..." Ruto said blushing, "But I don't think he likes me." "Well it is kinda hard you being a Zora." "Yea I guess, oh look there's Zabuza."
Zabuza walked up to them and said, "I trust you got everything you need." He jumped into the saddle on his Chocobo and reached a hand down to Ruto.

It was almost noon, and the sun beat down on the adventurers unmercifully. After a few minutes of profuse sweating, they decided to take a break under the shade of a small stand of trees. The shade helped quite a bit, and a cool breeze blew through the area.
"Ah, that feels much better.", said Ruto. She was leaning up against a tree and leaning into the breeze, her eyes closed. "I don't like it when it is hot. How about you Zabuza?" "The land I grew up in was cool and wet. So no, I don't really like it.", said Zabuza from his perch. When they stopped, he had dismounted and jumped up into the sturdy branches of one of the trees. "How about you Link?", asked Ruto. "The heat doesn't bother me. I have been in far hotter places than this..." He trailed off a little, as if remembering something from long ago.
The group sat in silence for a while, taking in the cool breeze. Ruto looked up in the tree at Zabuza and smiled. "Hey, Zabuza, the breeze is nice and all, but what I really want is a nice pool of water. Do you think you could use some of your magic to make one for me?" "Perhaps I can...but I have a better idea." Zabuza got to his feet on the thick tree branch and started mumbling to himself. His hands went through various symbols, and a pool of water began to form in mid air. He gently guided it close to the ground. The ninja continued his hand symbols and muttering for a few moments, and the air grew cold. Chunks of ice began to appear in the air, falling down into the water with little splashes. The ice slowly dissolved in the tepid water, cooling it. "Not only water...but cool water.", he said. He continued to stand on the tree branch, holding the water in place. Ruto cupped her hands and reached into the floating pool of water. She brought them out and took a deep drink. "It's good! It feels like cool mountain spring water.", she said. Link stood up from his spot on the ground and did the dame, taking a deep drink. When finished, the Hylian smacked his lips in satisfaction. "Yeah, it's good. At least when traveling with you we won't ever run out of water.", said Link. He reached his hands into the pool and took another drink. "For me to do this, there must be water in the air. This won't be of much help to us in the desert.", said the ninja. Ruto dove into the water head first. The Zora Princess barely made a splash as she entered the floating pool. She swam around in it rapidly, enjoying herself. After a few seconds, she surfaced. "Come on guys, the water is nice and cool. Why don't you come in?" "I have to concentrate or the pool will fall.", said Zabuza. Sure enough, he was still holding his hand signs. His face was beginning to show the strain of keeping such a large pool of water in the air as well. "Well then, just set the pool down. There is a hole in the ground over there. It seems a bit small, but maybe Link can widen it for us.", she said. "Widen it?", said Link. He blinked a little, unsure what she meant. "I have seen you use your sword before. Jump down in that depression there and do your spinning blade attack." "It isn't very deep...", he said. "Well, don't just stand there, make it deeper!" Link grumbled to himself and walked out from under the shade of the tree. He unsheathed his blade and looked at the depression. Indeed, it was hardly more than a large dimple in the landscape. Abruptly an idea struck him, and he pointed his sword at it. "Lightning!", shouted Link. A bolt of lightning shot from the tip of his sword and struck the bottom of the depression, making a large, smooth hole. He jumped down into the hole and readied his sword. "Spiral Energy Blast!", he yelled. The edge of Link's sword began to blow as it built up energy. With a flash, the energy was released and Link spun in a few quick circles. A shower of dirt and small rocks flew in all directions, and the hole widened considerably. "See, I told you you could do it!", yelled Ruto happily. Link, breathing hard, climbed up the surprisingly smooth sides of the hole and sat down on the grass. Zabuza watched Link widen the hole with some surprise. 'That guy is getting more powerful.', he thought to himself. His hands shook, and sweat started to bead on his face from holding the water for so long. This was far longer than he had ever held this technique before, and he was quite tired. As soon as Link was out of the way, the ninja guided the pool of water out of the trees and over the hole Link had created. With a sigh of relief, he released his control and dropped the pool into the hole, Ruto and all. "Come on in guys, it's great!", shouted the Zora Princess. She swam freely around in the hole, splashing water. Link Shrugged, threw off his green tunic, and jumped into the pool. There was a huge slash as water flew everywhere from his messy entry. "Come on Zabuza, it will be fun!" The ninja jumped out of the tree and landed with a thump next to the pool. He hadn't been swimming in quite a while. Still, for a ninja of the Hidden Mist Village, swimming was almost second nature. Without replying, Zabuza began to take his heavy armor off. His two dragons jumped out of it and into the small pool, enjoying the chance to go for a swim and get cool. Soon, all of his armor, weapons, and shirt were in a neat pile on the ground. Zabuza stood in the sunlight, stretching. Without the armor and shirt, Zabuza's hugely muscled chest and back were visible. When Zabuza turned around, Ruto and Link stared in shock. The Hidden Mist ninja's back was covered in ugly scars, still white and fresh looking. They couldn't be more than a year old, and they were clear evidence of massive injuries. The two found themselves wondering how the man had survived such horrible wounds. Being the more blunt of the two, Link spoke first. "What the hell happened to your back?", he asked. Zabuza simply ignored the Hylian and eased his way into the cool pool. Strangely enough, the ninja didn't remove his headband or the strips of fabric around his mouth and nose that served as a mask. "Zabuza...what did happen to your back?", asked Ruto a little more tactfully. Knowing that he wouldn't get much peace until he told them, Zabuza eased back in the water and told the story.
"I was in a fight with an enemy. I lost. The man named Kakashi had disabled my arms with a pair of kunai, and I was as good as dead. Then, my "employer" showed up. He told me that he was going to kill us all so that he could keep the money he had been paying me. He even kicked the body of Haku, the closest person to a friend I ever had. One of the young ninjas, formerly my enemy, gave me one of his kunai. With it in my mouth, I charged my former employer and his army of thugs. I fought my way through to him and killed him, but I had many wounds. I fell down, unable to move anymore. With their boss gone, the thugs broke and ran, and Kakashi came over to help me. He pulled out the weapons that were lodged in my back and sat put me next to Haku's body. That was the last thing I remember before I found myself in a clearing on another world. Does that answer your question?" "This Kakashi...he doesn't seem like such a bad enemy.", muttered Ruto. She had been floating in the pool, listening intently to Zabuza's sad story. "He wasn't my enemy, not really. I was hired to do something, and he was hired to stop me from doing it. It wasn't anything personal. He is the one that killed Haku, but I don't blame him for it. We were both just doing out jobs..." "Sounds like you really did lead a hard life...", said Ruto. Link had been listening quietly the whole time and enjoying the cool water. "It sounds to me like you died.", said Link. "Maybe I did...maybe I didn't, I don't know.", said Zabuza. Evidently done talking, the ninja ducked under the water and closed his eyes. He was evidently enjoying the cool caress of the water on his face. Before too long, the ninja resurfaced and took a deep breath. He began to swim slowly around the pool on his back, using the strength of his powerful arms to propel him through the water. The two dragons had evidently had enough of their swim and sat on the bank. The blue one was sunning it's self, while the white dragon had found a perch in the shade tree.
Noticing that the fun romp in the water had turned quite sober, Ruto decided to have a little fun. She swam after Zabuza, keeping pace easily. "Zabuza, why is it you never take that mask and headband off? I have only seen you lower the mask briefly to eat, and you replace it between bites. I haven't even ever seen your face!" The powerful ninja stopped swimming and turned to face Ruto. "The headband is the symbol of my village. The scratch through it shows that I was kicked out. I keep it to remind me of my past. It reminds me where I come from, and to never make the same mistakes again. As for the mask...I'd rather not say." 'Well, that didn't turn out like I expected it to...', thought Ruto. She wanted to make things happier, not worse. "I'll tell you what. Take the mask off and I will give you something nice.", she said. "I'd rather not.", said Zabuza. "Aw, come on, please? I just want to see your face." Zabuza sighed reached his hand up to his mask. He worked it down a little, and it fell from his face. It settled around his neck in a pile of fabric. Zabuza's face was revealed. There wasn't much special about it. "Happy?", he said. "Yes.", replied Ruto. She giggled and quickly lunged forward. She threw he arms around the startled ninja's face and planted a kiss on his lips. All was silent for a few moments as Zabuza sat there, shocked. Link chuckled, and Ruto finally broke off. "I told you I'd give you something nice. You need to lighten up and get into it more. That way it would be more fun." Link continued to chuckle, and Zabuza looked at him strangely. "Perverted little elf...", he muttered to himself. Ruto burst out in laughter and collapsed back into the water, and the mood was indeed lightened. Even Zabuza couldn't help but chuckle a little. Still, he thought to himself, she held that kiss quite a bit longer than she needed to for a joke...
OOC: I would just like to say, this is all Link's fault. He started it, and I'm just going with it. Your turn again...

The small group of adventurers made it the rest of the way across the huge field without incident. They crossed a bridge over a deep canyon and entered a rocky region. Link stopped the party with a gesture, and they looked at him expectantly.
"The Gerudo are a race of females. Only one male is born once in a great while, and Ganondorf is the current one. Still, none of them like him much, so there shouldn't be a problem there. The real problem is that they have a very low opinion of men. I manged to gain their approval some time ago, but you might have to pass a test or something Zabuza. Ruto they should be all right with." Seeing that no one else had anything to say, Link smacked Epona's flank, and they continued on their way.
After a few more minutes of travel, four figures jumped out of the shadows between the rocks and landed in front of the group of travelers. "Halt! This is Gerudo Territory! Hand over your valuable and we may decide to...oh, Link! It's you! I haven't seen you in a long time...", said one of the strangers. Brown cloth covered most of the Gerudo's face, making identification difficult. With a quick motion, the speaker uncovered her face. Link suddenly realized that he knew her. She was the leader of the Gerudo in the Fortress. "Uh, yeah, It's me and some friend. Will you let us pass? We have come on business and need to talk with...well, you, in private.", said Link. "Well, I suppose so...wait, no, it looks like that is a man there. You know our rules, only a man who has been accepted by us can enter this place and be allowed to leave again.", said the Gerudo Bandit's leader. "Don't worry, he will pass any test you have for him.", said Link. "Oh? You sound quite confident in his abilities." "I am." "Well then, allow us to escort you to the testing area." The Gerudo Bandits turned and strode down the path, laughing and talking among themselves. "Come on Zabuza...it seems we can't avoid this." The ninja simply nodded his head and guided his Chocobo down the winding path after the Gerudo.
"All right stranger, here is your task. This is our training facility. In it are many traps, monsters, and clues. You must escape this place alive and with the treasure hidden within. Normally, a man wouldn't even be allowed to enter here, but Link says you're good. Prove it, and you will be welcome. Fail, and well, you will be dead." The door to the training facility swung open, and Zabuza dismounted from his Chocobo. "Ruto, look after the bird while I'm in here. I won't take too long." The ninja strode swiftly into the chamber, and the door swung shut behind him.

Link and Ruto watched Zabuza go into the training area and looked at the closed door, "Do you think he'll be okay?" Ruto said. "Well I don't know if it's any harder then when I did it, even if it is he'll be fine." Ruto and Link walked around looking for the shooting range, when they found it a the woman there asked if they would like to give it a try for 10 Rupees. "Uhh, I don't have any Rupees, I have Gil." Link explained where he had come from. "I'm sorry Link we only except Rupees." "It's okay Link I have enough for you and me." Ruto pulled out a bag and took out 20 Rupees. The woman summoned them into a room and told them they would get a prize if they could break eleven pots with ten arrows. Link took out his bow and shot the first nine with ease, he looked at the final two and saw way to do it, he got at an angle with it and shot, it shattered the first one and took a chip out of the other one. "I'm sorry Link you failed to break all of them." "No I didn't you said break them, not shatter them, I BROKE a chip off of it, I get the prize." "Well Link, I do beleive your right, what would you like?" "I want 100 Rupees to go to Ruto." The woman looked at him and gave the Rupees to Ruto. As they were walking away Link was thown back by something, he got up and unsheathed his sword, he focused in front of him and saw it was a Ninja. He had had to sneak in this place before and he had come to face many of these. She put his foot out to trip him but the Ninja just cut his leg, Link charged up for a spin attack and let it go, it blew Ruto back and the Ninja too, the Ninja got up and jumped at Link, Link moved out of the way tripped to Ninja, "Why are you trying to kill me?!" "You stole 100 Rupees from us!" "What?! I stole nothing, it was one of the prizes!" "And you left us to be attacked by monsters!" "I had no choice... Now either you get out of here ar I kill you." ".... Link...Look behind you." Ruto said. Link turned around and saw a group of monsters. He got his sword ready and ran towards them, slicing them all. He then looked at the Ninja and told her and Ruto to run. After they were gone me summoned a bolt of Lightning to hit him, as it hit him he ran through the monsters, after he had killed them all he walked back to Ruto and fell down at her feet...
OOC: Okay that was one of my daily training sessions, I beleive that was number two, I have two more to go, I want all 15 points to go to Magic, and I gain 10HP out of the training.

The door swung shut behind Zabuza, and he found himself in a dark, dusty room. The only light was coming from a small fire set into the wall on the other side of the room. It shed only enough light to make the place a maze of wavering shadows. "Pleasant.", muttered Zabuza to himself. A small squeaking noise met Zabuza's ears, and he quickly unsheathed his blade. The sword glimmered in the fire light, scattering it around the room and adding to the eerie effect. After a few moments, the ninja finally located the source of the noise. A small bat was roosting on the ceiling. Having never been harmed by a bat before, Zabuza decided to ignore it. He crossed the room and began searching the walls, tapping them with his sword. As he did this, the ninja noticed that the shadows on the wall were shifting, almost as if the fire were moving. He looked over his shoulder just in time to see the bat swooping at him, it's wings burning brightly. Surprised, Zabuza dropped to the ground. The bat zoomed right over his prone from and circled around for another pass. Zabuza got to his feet with a muffled curse and brandished his sword, ready for the bat. "Yeah, try that again bastard.", he muttered. The bat did, and on it's way met the sharp side of Zabuza's blade. With a wet splat, the bat hit the ground in two pieces. Zabuza wiped the blood off of his blade and sheathed the weapon. He had a strange feeling that he would need his hands free in this place. He continued searching the walls, unconsciously adjusting his gloves. Soon he managed to uncover a hidden door. That is, relatively hidden. It looked as if it had been crudely walled over. Zabuza tugged at one of the rocks experimentally, but it didn't budge. Sighing, Zabuza adjusted his gloves and got into a fighting stance. He lunged at the wall, punching it as hard as he could. Rocks flew, and the whole thing collapsed, revealing a wooden door.
OOC: Will finish this later, busy.

....... "Link, Link... Wake up! Link please wake up!" Ruto said with tears in her eyes. Link was in a bed in the Gerudo Hideout. Ruto was the only one in there, no one would come and look at him, it was like they were afraid, and Zabuza hadn't come out of the test yet... Ruto was worried that Link and Zabuza were going to die, and then Ganondof would kill her. "Princess Ruto." A woman said from the shadows, "Leave him alone, he has no chance, he's going to die." "No, he won't, don't say that!" Ruto yelled back. "There is one way to help him..." "How?" "Give me your sage power, and I'll heal him with it." "Well... I guess... If it will help him." She muttered some words and a bright light came out of her chest and went into the woman. "Foolish little Zora! You have given up your sage powers! Now all I need is one more and I will rule Hyrule!" "Ganondof!" She pulled out her Crossbow, and was about to fire when Ganondof sent out a bolt of Lighting, striking her in her chest, she was blown back against the wall. "Now that she's out of the way, and Link and the Ninja are dead.... I will rule Hyrule....

Zabuza had spent several days in the labyrinth that the Gerudo called a training facility and had made little progress. He had defeated monsters, foiled traps, and solved difficult clues. Still, he found himself no closer to finding the prize. He had no idea what it could even be, much less where it was. Muttering to himself, Zabuza continued on his journey. "Damned puzzle...", he said to himself. Mizudora and Kooridora were sitting on his shoulders, keeping the ninja company. They both nodded silently, having long since figured out that Zabuza wasn't really expecting them to respond to his mumbled frustrations. There was a harsh grating sound, and Zabuza leaped into the air. The floor under him broke away, revealing a pit filled with sharp spikes. The ninja sailed over it, not even giving it a second thought. He was too annoyed by the circumstance to care about such a simple trap.
The next chamber's floor was a mosaic of colored tiles, and it's walls were covered with intricate carvings. Zabuza unsheathed his sword and began to poke them experimentally. Sure enough, when he poked a red tile a bout of flame shot out from the mouth of one of the carving on the wall. When he tapped a yellow tile, a bolt of energy issued from another hole. Zabuza's probing sword tapped a white tile, and nothing happened. Sighing, he began to hop across the room, touching only white tiles. No traps were sprung, and he arrived at the other side safely. "Traps lose their effectiveness when there is one in every room...", he said to himself. Once again, the two dragons nodded. The next chamber was quite different. It had no obvious differences from a normal chamber...nothing stood out. For once, Zabuza was nervous. "A simple chamber...this can't be good.", he said. Zabuza drew his sword and began to walk across the chamber, looking around skeptically. When he reached the middle of the room, there was a strange click. "Oh, it's one of those.", said Zabuza as the ceiling began to fall. The ninja's long blade flashed in the dim light, weaving a strange pattern in the air. Zabuza sheathed his sword and reached his hand up, almost as if to catch the falling ceiling. With a loud thud, the ceiling hit the floor. Zabuza stood in the middle of the chamber, holding a large chunk of the ceiling that he had cut loose. He tossed it aside in a gesture of contempt and continued on his way. The ceiling stayed put on the floor, having no means of returning to it's original place. When Zabuza reached the wooden door on the other side of the room, he pulled a key out of his belt pouch and placed it in the lock. It turned with a click, and the door swung open. Zabuza barely noticed that the strange key disappeared. Zabuza looked around the new room, curious. Once again, it was an almost plain chamber. The only difference was that it had a low ceiling and there was a strange stone block in the center of the room. Zabuza walked up to it and looked it over carefully. It was a simple stone block, almost a perfect cube. "So, what do you think about this?', he asked the dragons. 'I don't know...", they both said. "That's not very helpful.", he said. The dragons had no comment.
Zabuza spent the next half hour exploring the chamber. He felt all around the walls, trying to find hidden doors. He had no luck, the walls were quite smooth. "Damn it, this is annoying.", he said. Zabuza sat on the block to ponder the situation for a while. Perhaps he had missed something in one of the other chambers, some clue or hidden door. He didn't think he had, but this room just seemed to be a dead end. Still, if it was, there was no reason for the stone block. Perhaps it was a tool? "I just don't get it...", he mumbled. After a few more minutes of pondering, Zabuza stood up to check the other rooms. When he did so, the stone block slid a tiny bit. Curious, the ninja picked the block up. he set it to the side and looked where the block had been. There was a strange black smudge in the shape of a square. Zabuza reached down and got a little of the black substance on his fingers. He moved his fingers around, feeling it. He sniffed the stuff, but it didn't solve anything. "It's just...grease." Zabuza replaced the block in the center of the grease square and stared at it, thinking. "Maybe...that has to be in that spot for some reason...", he said aloud. He reached his hand to the ceiling above, trying to feel it. He couldn't quite reach. "Perhaps it is a step...", he said. Zabuza placed one foot on the block and stepped up. The ceiling was only a little above his head now, and he started feeling it. Most of it felt like stone, but in one spot it felt subtly different. "Bingo.", he said. Zabuza felt around the area until he found something that seemed to be metal. He pushed it, and there was a click. He pushed, and that part of the ceiling rose up, almost on it's own accord. Zabuza looked at it and was shocked to see that it looked as if his hands were disappearing into solid rock. Zabuza felt around the edge of the hole. It was smooth rock. Realizing that it was now or never, he hauled himself up though the invisible hole.

"Link, you have been through time many times, you have defeated evil many times. But mow your true battle has come. You will soon battle for your life, you should be dead, but we will give you another chance, you must defeat Ganondof in the next two months to survive. Princess Ruto and Momochi Zabuza will help you, but you Link will have to deal the final blow with the Master Sword, if you don't he will not die, and you will. If he lives he will destroy Hyrule. You must listen to me, if you defeat him you will gain a sacred power, do it for yourself, do it for Hyrule..."
Link woke up sweating, he had heard this voice only once, and that was when he was in the Spirit Realm. He looked around the room and saw Ruto lying on the ground, he could tell she was alive, he got out of the bed and shook her, "Link? Link your okay!" She got up and hugged him, "I thought you were dead... Ganondof took my sage power, he tricked me." "It's okay." He said, "We'll get it back, lets go find some food..."

Zabuza pulled himself easily up over the lip of the hole. The chamber he found himself in was large and circular, with torches every few paces on the walls. Zabuza got to his feet and dusted his pants off. He looked at the hole he had come through and saw that it had been covered by a simple trap door. The pit door had been covered by an illusion of normal ceiling. Simple, but quite effective. Zabuza studied the new room, looking for an exit. There weren't any visible. That meant that he had either another puzzle on his hands, or this was the place where the treasure was. There were several large clay urns around the room, lining the walls. Perhaps the prize was in one of those. Zabuza strode confidently across the room and looked into the nearest one.
"Empty...", he muttered. "Mizudora, Kooridora, help me search this room." 'Yes, master.' 'Right boss!' Together the three searched the room for several minutes, peeking into urns or shoving the aside in their search. 'Hey, boss, there is something under this jug.', said Kooridora. Zabuza stepped over to the urn the white dragon had been searching around and lifted it effortlessly off of the ground. Sure enough, underneath it was a small brown button. "Come on now, this is just getting stupid.", said Zabuza. He placed the clay jug safely to the side and stepped on the button. It didn't budge. The ninja sighed and jumped into the air, landing with both feet on the button. It clicked and sunk into the ground. The click was soon followed by a whooshing noise, and a chest dropped from the ceiling. He hadn't noticed it, so he assumed it had been hidden by another illusion. Zabuza shrugged and approached the chest warily. This was far too simple to be true. Nothing materialized to block his way, and Zabuza soon found himself standing right next to the chest. The ninja held his sword loosely in one hand and placed his other on the chest's lid. Still, nothing happened. Then, Zabuza's eyes widened in surprise. "Locked? What the hell!", he shouted angrily. The two dragons had no comment, though the white one looked as if he wanted to grin. "That's right, it's locked. If you want the key, you will have to fight me!", boomed a voice from behind Zabuza. "Look asshole, I don't want to have to kill you. I've been trying hard not to kill anyone, and I don't want to ruin my streak now.", said Zabuza. He turned around to face the voice, but saw only a mirror.
Zabuza looked deep into the mirror and saw his reflection. It stood there, looking puzzled. Then the reflection slowly began to chance, grinning evilly. Zabuza stared in amazement as the figure stepped cleanly out of the mirror. It held it's sword in one hand in the exact same manner as Zabuza, though it looked vastly different. The creature that stood before Zabuza no longer looked like himself. It had transformed into a hideous demonic creature with blue skin and red eyes. "Devil of the Hidden Mist? Yes, that's me.", said the creature. It's voice was much like Zabuza's, but strangely hollow. The creature's form blurred and as it leaped at Zabuza, insanely fast. The ninja barely had time to get his blade up in defense. The two blades met with a shower of sparks, and Zabuza found himself looking into the red eyes of the demon. "I know all of your moves because I am you. In fact, I learned most of them! You have been in control of our body for far too long now. I'm going to kill you and take it back for myself. Then, I am going to lay waster to this world. I may have lost to the Kage, but I can take this land over easily enough." The Demon's muscles bulged huge, and it's blade began to push Zabuza back. His feet shifted, and he began to feed more of his own strength into the battle. The two blades stilled, neither able to get the advantage over the other. "I don't believe you. You are as strong as me, yes, but you are nothing like me! I got rid of you once, and I will do it again!" The blades of the two creaked at the awesome pressure, and the Demon laughed in Zabuza's face. "Hah! You never got rid of me and you know it! I am a part of you that you can't change, the part of you that is the strongest. You call yourself a ninja, but you're no more than a hopeless Genin now. True ninjas don't worry about killing, it's what they do!" With another shower of sparks, the two separated. Zabuza got into his fighting stance, and the Demon imitated it exactly. Knowing each other as they did, they both knew the time for talk was over. Summoning all of his strength and speed, Zabuza charged at the blue devil. Blades flashed, and Zabuza soon realized that he was in trouble. The creature was just as strong and fast as he was, but he was already getting tired. After a few minutes, his sword was already beginning to slow, and the devil's was almost breaking through his guard. It licked closer and closer to Zabuza's flesh. Zabuza winced in pain as the Devil's blade sliced a shallow but jagged cut into his arm. He jumped backward, trying to get away. Knowing it had the advantage, the Demon pressed forward, following Zabuza's every move. Sensing his doom, Zabuza mustered the last of his strength and lashed out with his blade, catching the blue demon's blade. The two came face to face, their swords locked. "You're weak, fool. It is I that will triumph here." "Never!", yelled Zabuza. He pushed violently at the Demon, trying to force it back. A line of red caught his eye on the demon's arm. It was exactly like the cut on his arm, yet he had never touched the creature. The move caught the Demon but surprise and it was forced back. Zabuza's blade sunk deep into it's shoulder, and it was pinned to the nearby wall. Zabuza grunted in pain as a gaping wound opened up in his shoulder. The Demon laughed in his face once more, it's sword arm pinned to the wall. "Every wound you deal me you also deal to yourself. You can't win!", it yelled. The Demon's clawed hand grabbed Zabuza's blade and forced the sword out of his shoulder. Numb with shock, Zabuza was completely unable to fight back. The Demon raised it's sword for the killing thrust. "Now, it's my turn at last!" The blade shot toward Zabuza's heart, almost in slow motion. He clearly saw it coming at him, glinting in the torch light. He knew he couldn't escape in time, and a calm sort of peace came over his mind. In that moment of clarity, he knew exactly what to do. The Demon's blade pierced Zabuza's heart, driving completely through his body and out his back. The Demon roared in triumph and yanked on it's sword. It intended to cut Zabuza into as many pieces as it could. A wound appeared on it's heart, but it took more than that to kill a creature like him. Zabuza had lashed out and grabbed the Demon's clawed hands on the hilt of the sword. His own blade lay on the ground at his feet. The Demon sneered at Zabuza's efforts and pulled on the blade again. "You've lost! You're dead, and it's my turn!" "No, you've lost Devil!", said Zabuza. Indeed, he looked anything but dead. The Demon yanked harder, but it's blade didn't budge. In fact, it began to lose ground. Zabuza pulled it further into his body. "It's true, you are a part of me, and I can't defeat you. What I can do though is contain you. Every strength of mine matches a strength of yours. You are part of me, but I am the master!" The Demon's sword had completely disappeared into Zabuza's body, and it was up to it's elbows as well. "No! I won't go back! I refuse to stay gone!" "Wrong. You will!", shouted Zabuza. With one final jerk, the Demon was pulled completely into Zabuza's body. It left nothing behind but a few drops of blood and a lingering voice. "I will get out once more...you can't contain me forever!", it said. All was silent for a few moments, then there was a thud as Zabuza collapsed in a pool of his own blood.
'Master, wake up! Wake up!', came a voice into Zabuza's head. 'Yeah Boss, there is no way we can get out of here on our own! Don't die on us and leave us here!' Zabuza shook his head and sat up. He had fallen between the chest and the mirror. It was shattered now, all of it's pieces glimmering in the light from their places on the floor. "I'm fine.", he said. He manage to climb to his feet using his sword as a crutch. "What happened?" 'You looked at the mirror and collapsed. A few seconds later it shattered and pieces of glass flew everywhere. One of them cut your arm and another lodged it's self in your shoulder, but other than that you seemed fine. We removed the glass, but you wouldn't wake up. You even stopped breathing.', said Mizudora. "I see. Well, perhaps we should take a look at this treasure that we went through so much to claim.", said Zabuza. He examined the chest and noticed that there was a key already in the lock. He reached his hand out and turned the key, wincing at the pain of his shoulder wound. The lock clicked happily and fell from the chest. Zabuza used the tip of his sword to open the lid. Nothing jumped out at them, there was no explosion, no deadly traps at all. Zabuza leaned over the chest and looked inside. All that it contained was a small piece of broken glass. 'How did that get in there boss? The thing was closed when the mirror shattered.', asked Kooridora. "I don't know, but we should hurry. I want to get out of here as soon as I can.", said Zabuza. He carefully placed the glass shard into his pouch and sheathed his sword. He had a feeling that he wouldn't need it on the way out. As he did so, he heard a voice in his head, almost a whisper. "I will return...you can't stop it. Try as you might, I am you!"
OOC: Well, I guess you could say that was a journey of self discovery mixed with an end of training post. I am finished learning the skills I have been and am starting to learn two more. I am learning both Dragon of the Earth and Dragon of the Heaven, one for each part of me.

After Link and Ruto got somthing to eat, he told her he would be gone for a while. "Where are you going?" She asked. "I can't tell you, it would put you in to much danger." "Link, what do you want me a Zabuza to do?" "Wait for Zabuza then I'll call him when I get done." "Link... Be careful." "I will."
After they got done talking Link walked away from Ruto and out the door, he went to find Epona. He got on her and took off.
OOC: Okay out on a journey, I think I'm going to the Temple of Time.

The trip back out of the underground training facility was an uneventful one for Zabuza. He had already defeated all of the monsters and traps on the way in, so nothing appeared to balk his exit. He opened the final door and stepped into the sunlight, glad to be outside once more. There was one Gerudo sentry on duty, and she looked honestly surprised to see him. "You...you made it out! That test was much more difficult than the one we gave Link, and you made it out so quickly! Tell me, do you have the prize?", she said. Zabuza nodded and reached into his pouch. He took the piece of glass out and handed it to the woman. "This was the only think in the chest." "The mirror...you broke it? You broke the mirror! That's not possible!", she stammered. "I managed to defeat the monster that came out of it by imprisoning him once more." "You weren't supposed to! You were supposed to figure out a way to banish him forever! This is bad...very bad. Wait here while I tell the leader.", she said. Zabuza nodded and the Gerudo sentry ran into the nearby fortress with great speed. In no time at all, she emerged with the leader. "This sentry says you broke the mirror. This was believed to be impossible. How did you do it?", she demanded. "I simply made the Demon a prisoner once more.", said Zabuza. He was beginning to look weary from the questioning. "Well, you obviously are more powerful than we expected. Still...you weren't supposed to do that. You were supposed to figure out a way to banish it." "Be that as it may, what is done is done. The mirror is destroyed, and I am finished with your test." "Fine, you did triumph...though not in the way we expected. I suppose that makes you an Honorary one of us...you are welcome any time. Still, much has happened since you entered there, and there are things you should know. Come, I will take you to Princess Ruto. Link has already left, but I believe she knows more." "Very well.", said the ninja.
A few minutes later, he arrived at Ruto's room. As soon as he entered, the young Zora woman ran to him and threw her arms around him. Zabuza stood there, quite confused. "Oh Zabuza, it was horrible! Ganondorf came and attacked us! He took my sage power, and he hurt Link! Link went off on his own, and I don't know what he is planning on doing!", she said. Tears welled in her eyes, and Zabuza was completely at a loss as to how to handle the situation. "Zabuza, I was so worried about you! They told me what kind of traps were in there, and I didn't know how you would be able to survive.", said Ruto. As she said this, her grip tightened on Zabuza's body. The ninja found himself glad that it was dark so that no one could see the slight blush that had crept into his face. The Gerudo that had escorted him had already left, and he found himself alone with the Zora Princess. "Ruto, I...", said Zabuza. He trailed off, trying to find something to say. The Zora Princess sniffed and looked up at Zabuza. Even in the pale light of the fortress he could see the tears streaming down her face. "I was so worried you wouldn't make it back...", she said. "It takes more that something like that to kill me.", he said. Ruto sat down heavily on the nearby bed and looked up at Zabuza. "Zabuza...I have to tell you something. Please, come sit down.", she said. She patted the space on the bed next to her, indicating exactly where she wanted him. Zabuza nodded and closed the door on his way to take his seat. The tall ninja sat next to Ruto, waiting for her to speak. "Zabuza, I think Link went to the Castle. Ganondorf is probably there...I think he might have gone there alone to battle him. I don't know if he can do it on his own...Ganondorf is so strong now.", she said. "I don't think he would do anything like that.", said Zabuza. It was obvious to everyone present that he was lying to make Ruto feel better. "Mizudora, Kooridora, I want you to fly and see if you can spot the direction Link went. He couldn't have gone too far by now." 'Right boss.' 'Yes, master.' The two small dragons crawled out from underneath the ninja's armor and flew out the window. They were soon nothing but specks, moving rapidly though the air. They broke off in different directions, trying to find Link's trail. "I appreciate that, Zabuza...", said the Zora Princess. "It's nothing. Don't worry, they will find him." "I'm sure they will. Tell me, what happened to you in the training place? You seem...different." "I don't think it's anything you would want to hear about." "Come on, it would make me feel better to hear the story." "I think it will make you more worried, but I guess I can tell you."
It took Zabuza more than an hour to tell Ruto the tale of his trip through the dungeon. True to his guess, his story did nothing to sooth the worried Zora. "How on earth did you survive that? It sounds horrible! I don't know how you made it out alive!", said Ruto. "I told you, I can handle myself. It was nothing to worry about." "Nothing to worry about indeed! You were almost killed..." "It takes more than that to kill me." "I know you're right, but I still worry about you..." "I don't see why you would." "Because I love you you idiot!" Zabuza looked at Ruto in surprise. She was starting at him hard, as if daring him to contradict her. "I...", was as far as Zabuza could manage. "You don't feel the same about me, do you?" "I...", said the always eloquent Zabuza. "Is it because I'm not like you? Because I'm a Zora?", said Princess Ruto. Once more, her eyes were starting to tear up. "No, it's not like that, I...I...", stammered Zabuza. "You what?", she asked. "I...am not good with words. In my entire life, no one has ever told me they love me. I was just...surprised." "You're not put off by the way that I look then?", said Ruto. "No, I suppose not." "Oh, good.", she said. With that, the Zora Princess jumped into Zabuza's lap and began to work his mask down. "What are you doing?", he asked the bewildered ninja. "I should think that is apparent.", said Ruto as she pulled his mask down. Once the bandages fell past his chin, she put her arms around his shoulder and planted a deep kiss on his mouth. Zabuza, unable to think of anything else to do, simply went with it.
Outside the window, the two elemental dragons circled. They watched the whole scene through the window with interest. 'Hah, told you she liked him. You owe me a meal Mizudora.', said the white dragon. 'I know, I know. Still, I hate to interrupt them. Perhaps we should give them a minute before we give them the bad news?' 'Yeah, you might be right. An angry Zabuza isn't something I want to see ever again.' The two dragons continued to circle the fortress for a minute or two, sneaking occasional peaks into the room. Apparently the Zora hadn't quite got the kissing out of her system yet, and they kept their distance. 'You know, I think we should go ahead and interrupt them now, before they get into things more serious. This is kind of important, and I really don't want to interrupt them if they start getting more serious.' 'You're probably right Kooridora. Should we make some noise on our approach to warn them?" 'Yeah, I think we'd better.' The two dragon swooped toward the window, projecting their thoughts loudly as they went. They landed on the window sill with a purposefully loud thud and climbed into the room. Though the two had hear them coming, evidently Ruto didn't think enough of it to climb out of Zabuza's lap. The ninja was still looking a bit stunned by the whole thing. 'We're back boss, and we have bad news. We managed to spot Link...sure enough, he was on his way to the town with the big castle near it.', said Kooridora. The small dragon cringed a little, expecting an angry outburst from Zabuza. "Oh? Damn...I guess we had better follow him before he gets into too much trouble.", said Zabuza. He picked the indignant Ruto up off of his lap and sat her back on the bed next to him. "Hey! ...well, fine. I guess we had better get going. He will need our help. ", said Ruto. Then she lowered her voice, attempting to whisper to Zabuza alone. "but don't think this means I'm done with you.", she said. The dragon's acute hearing picked it up, but neither of them thought it wise to say anything.
In a few minutes they managed to get everything packed and gathered supplies from the helpful Gerudo. The two set out on Zabuza's Chocobo, following Link's trail. Ruto had her arms securely around Zabuza's waist, but there was less space between the two of them than there had been before. The two dragons flew silently above them, making the best of their freedom. "Zabuza...promise me you will make it through this. I don't think I could bare to lose you.", whispered Ruto. The Zora leaned her head on Zabuza's shoulder, looking over it at the terrain ahead. "I can't promise you something like that. But I can promise you that I will do my best.", he said. The ninja was almost over the oddity of the situation now, and found that he was beginning to enjoy having someone with him who cared for him. "I suppose that will have to do...", said Ruto. She closed her eyes, and soon she was fast asleep in the saddle behind him. "I can't promise that, but I can promise that I will see that Ganondorf pays for what he has done to this land.", muttered Zabuza. The Zora Princess shifted in her sleep.
OOC: Taking off after Link. Once again, I would like to remind everyone that this was his doing, you should blame him for it. I simply went with it as a good role player should. I expect him to do the same when I get my revenge...I mean, uh, when something similar happens to him, should it ever by coincidence...

Link and Epona had been traveling for two days, they finally reached the Temple of Time, a huge temple with three slots for the Sacred Stones of Hyrule to be placed in, he took them out of his bag and put them in the slots, he then played a song on his Ocarina, and the doors slid open. He waked into the temple and put the Master Sword in the pedestal in which he had gotten it once before. A blinding light followed and he could fell himself falling. He didn't land instead he floated, Roku the Sage of Light then spoke, "Link, the Master of Time, the Holder of the Winds, you come to the Spirit Realm seeking more power do you not?" "Yes, I do." Link replied. "You want to learn the four elements do you not?" "Yes I do." "You must open your mind and lose all the negative thoughts you have, you must only focus on your goal, no you will be put through a training course, there will be four sections, one for Fire, Air, Earth, and Water, you will be given the Master Sword, so that no one will be able to enter this realm, at the end you will fight a powerful monster... Are you ready?" "Yes." "Then begin."
As Roku said it Link fell into an empty room, "I guess this is where I begin."
OOC: Okay this temple will take two weeks, in this time I will learn, Fire, and Water the first week, and Air, and Earth the second week.

Link walked around the room, hitting his sword against the wall, looking for a fake wall, after he went around the whole room he looked above him, it was pitch black, he used Spiral Energy Blast to light up the room, he saw a ladder in the middle of the room, "How the hell did I miss that?" He climbed up the the ladder and saw a treasure chest, he went over to it and opened it, and swarm of Keese(The Hylian bat) flew out and knocked Link over, some flew into a torch and were light on fire, they were now more dangerous then before, he made sure to take out all of the Fire Keese before the others, so he could see better, he took out all but one of the normal ones, now he had to catch it. He jumped at it and missed, it flew behind him and bit him, he put his sword back and took out his Crossbow, be had always been a good shot so he pointed it at the Keese and shot, the arrow hit it right between the wings, he pointed it at the Fire Keese and shot, it hit it's back and it fell to the ground, he went over to it and unsheathed his sword and cut it's head off.
OOC: Okay I did one daily training sessions, that 3/4. I want 5 to go to HP, Power, Magic, Speed, Accuracy.

Zabuza and Ruto rode into the small town at the base of the castle cautiously. People roamed the streets, dogs barked, and children ran around playing as normal, but the place didn't feel right. While everything looked normal on the surface, a kind of sadness seemed to hang over the town, blotting out all hope. People's voices sounded hollow, and children's laughter seemed forced. "Something is wrong here...", whispered Ruto. She was still behind Zabuza on the Chocobo, holding on tightly. "Yes...I should send out the dragons to see if they can find any trace of Link. At least Ganondorf doesn't seem to be here.", said Zabuza. As they rode by, people turned and looked at the strange couple. It wasn't every day that a person and a Zora rode by on a giant bird. Noting the stares, Zabuza decided it would be a good idea to wait until they were out of site to unleash the dragons. He guided the Chocobo down a nearby alley, into the darkness. As soon as they were out of sight of the people, Zabuza spoke to the dragon hidden in his clothing. "Mizudora, Kooridora, I want you to fan out and search for any trace of Link. We will start looking on our own. Don't be seen." 'Right Boss!' 'As you wish, master.' The dragons crawled onto Zabuza's shoulder and spread their wings. They took off with a loud flapping noise and landed on the roof of a nearby building. Together the two dragons began to hop from roof to roof, trying to avoid detection. "Where should we go now?", asked Zabuza. "I don't know, he could be anywhere. Still, it doesn't look as if Ganondorf is in the castle. It looks empty. There is no telling where Link is.", said Ruto. The Zora's shoulders slumped in defeat. "Don't worry, we will find him sooner or later. In the meantime, we need to find out what is going on here." Ruto nodded, and Zabuza guided the Chocobo back into the main street. Before too long, the two located a suitable Inn. Zabuza tied the Chocobo to a post near a water trough and dismounted. Ruto quickly followed his example, and the two walked into the Inn's open door. The place was almost empty. Only an aged bartender and a serving woman sat behind the counter. Other than the two of them, the place was empty. Upon spying the two potential customers, the bartender and woman jumped to their feet. "Good evening sir and madam! Welcome to the Happy Goron Inn! Please, have a seat and make yourselves comfortable! Is there anything we could get you?", said the bartender. He seemed abnormally cheerful, as if putting on a bad act of happiness for the customers. "We need food, drink, and information. The order doesn't matter.", said Zabuza, getting right to the point. "Right away sir!", said the man. The woman hurried through a set of doors at the back of the room, and the old man began to fill two mugs with a brown drink of some sort. The man sat the mugs down in front of the two and smiled. "So, what information do you need? If you want to know the best places to visit in town, it happens to be my specialty." "No thanks. We need to know if you have seen Link. You know him, wears a tunic all the time, saves Hyrule upon occasion.", said Zabuza. "Haven't seen him lately. I wish I had though, things have been tough.", said the man. "Please then, I want to know...why is everyone in town behaving so strangely?", asked Ruto. "Well, I don't think I know what you're talking about there.", said the man. He glanced around nervously, clearly lying. "You should answer her if you know what is good for you, old man.", said Zabuza. He didn't draw a weapon, but the tone of his voice was clearly threat enough. "Well, you see, these are cares of the people of our town. It's nothing a stranger like you would want to hear about, I assure you." Zabuza popped his knuckles, and the man gulped. Just then, the serving woman arrived carrying a tray of food. She sat it down in front of the ninja with a smile. "Will there be anything else?", she said cheerfully. Zabuza eyed the food skeptically. There was a chunk of meat and a few slices of bread on the tray. The meat looked as if it had been hastily reheated, and the bread looked a bit stiffer than it should be. There was also a bowl of thick stew which was steaming warmly. Out of it all, it seemed the best bet. "No, this is good.", said Zabuza. He glanced at the old man. The man looked as if he would rather be elsewhere at the moment. "As you were saying...", said the ninja. "Well, uh, you see, as I am sure you know, the world has been troubled lately. We don't like to speak of such things here, but Ganondorf has returned. He...well, many say he killed the Princess. I don't know if it is true or not, but none has seen her since his return. That's pretty much it.", said the old man. He smiled broadly, hoping that his explanation would suffice. "That will do for now.", said Zabuza. The serving woman and the bartender quickly retreated back to their seats behind the bar, clearly glad to get away from the frightening stranger, even if he is a paying customer. "Zabuza, you shouldn't be so mean to them. Everyone has been having it hard lately.", said Ruto. She frowned at the ninja disapprovingly. "Hard? I was quite gentle...", said Zabuza. Ruto decided that it would be a good idea to drop the subject, sensing that it wasn't going any place at all. "Let's eat...I'm starved!", said the Zora Princess. She began to spoon some of the thick stew on to a slice of bread. Zabuza had never eaten anything in that manner, but he trusted the Zora's judgment and followed her example. Despite his expectations, the food was quite good. Between the two of them they soon managed to eat and drink everything that was put in front of them. "Well, I doubt we will learn anything else here. Let's pay and continue to search for Link.", said Zabuza. Upon hearing the word pay, the bartender's ears perked up and he scurried over to the table. "Did you enjoy everything? We did our best, I assure you. We haven't had many customers lately, so I apologize for the limited selection." "It was fine. How much?", said Zabuza. He opened his pouch and pulled out a hand full of gil. "Um, I'm sorry sir, but we don't take that kind of money. We only accept Rupees here...in fact, I have never seen that kind of money before at all!" "Um...shit.", said Zabuza. "Don't worry, I will get it.", said Ruto. She opened her pouch and pulled out a few of the strange gems. She handed them to the wide eyed bartender. "I trust that should suffice.", she said. The bartender swallowed and nodded, clearly pleased at the amount. The man took his money and went back to his seat behind the counter. The serving woman eyed the money in his hands appreciatively. Zabuza looked as Ruto for a few moments, not saying anything. "It's ok Zabuza, I was glad to pay it. After all, being a Princess, I have enough money. Besides, I'm sure that if we were in your land, you wouldn't have had any trouble." Zabuza nodded his head, embarrassed. By mutual consent, the two stood up from their chairs to resume their pursuit of Link. Zabuza pushed his chair in and turned to go. A wave of dizziness struck the ninja, and he fell to his knees. Nearby, he heard Ruto do the same. "I really am sorry, you seemed like good people. Well, the Zora did anyway. Still, Ganondorf said that if anyone were to see you that we should turn you in to him immediately. We dare not refuse or he might withdraw his protection from the town. Truly, I am sorry..." the man's voice trailed off, and soon all Zabuza saw was blackness.

Link stabbed his sword in the Stalfo's chest and swung down, it shattered in pieces, he had beaten these many times before, so he knew how to handle them. But as Link finished them off he fell the the ground and heard Ganondof's voice, "Hahaha, little elf, you have no chance of defeating me now! For i killed princess and ninja in a battle!" "Zabuza is too strong for that!" "You may be right, but I have captured them!" "I will kill you!" "Fine come to the castle." And with that his voice went away. "Roku!" Link yelled. "Yes Link?" "I would like to cut my training short for now, I only want to learn Fire and Water." "But Link, what about the others?" "I will come back after I defeat Ganondof." "Okay Link I will put the final test in the seventh room." "Thank you."
OOC: Okay I cut my training short to a week, I will only be learning Fire and Water, after we kill Ganondof I'll learn the others.

Zabuza awoke as pain shot through his head. He tried to stand up, but he was firmly tied down. The floor shifted restlessly beneath him, so he assumed he was on a boat or in a wagon. "Ruto, are you there?", he said. Somewhere from the darkness came the reply. "Yes Zabuza, I am. I have been awake for about an hour now...I guess whatever they put in the food doesn't effect Zoras as well as your race." Zabuza flexed his muscles in an attempt to snap his bonds, but blinding pain flashed through his head, causing him to grunt almost pass out again. "Zabuza, are you OK?", asked Ruto. "Fine, but whatever they used has given me one hell of a headache.." "Really? I feel fine." "That's good...don't worry, I will get us out of this." "I'm not, I believe in you Zabuza." Zabuza sighed. He hadn't been captured in many, many years. This ruined his streak, and he wasn't happy about it. Ninjas weren't supposed to be captured.
Zabuza writhed on the floor, trying to get loose from his bonds. It was obvious from the way he was moving that all of his weapons had been taken from him. Even his gloves were missing. He rolled around come more but was unable to loosen the bods or even move them much. Indeed, he was stuck. Before too long pain put a stop to his efforts. "They took my weapons...did they get all of yours too?", asked Zabuza. "Yes, that was the first thing I checked." "Damn...wait a minute...", said Zabuza. His voice trailed off as he felt something clink in his pant leg. The ninja managed to sit up in the darkness, though he still could not get his hands from behind his back. "I think I still have a kunai...", he said. Ruto, not knowing what a kunai was, remained silent. Zabuza leaned up against the wooden wall of their temporary prison and tried in vain to inspect his bonds. His hands and legs were bound tightly, and when he moved it seemed that they were tied together as well, making escape difficult. Still, who ever had tied the bonds had obviously never tied a ninja. Steeling himself against the pain he knew was to come, Zabuza darted his head forward and bit the button off of the pocket he felt the kunai in. Sure enough, pain lanced through his forehead, almost causing him to black out. The ropes dug into his arms cruelly, but despite it all Zabuza heard the clink as the metal kunai slid from his pocket. "Zabuza, was that" "Shh! We need silence."
Zabuza rolled onto his side and felt for the kunai. It took him almost five minutes, but finally he located the weapon. His mask of bandages was still loose around his face from the meal, and he worked it down with his jaw, exposing his mouth. He grabbed the kunai firmly in his jaws and sat up once more. He darted his head forward, cleanly severing one of the bonds that bound his legs. The pain was intense, but he kept his grip on the kunai. The rope snapped and unraveled, freeing the ninja's legs. Grinning despite the kunai in his mouth, Zabuza got to his feet...and promptly banged his head on the roof of his wooden cage. The pain of it cause his headache to resurface, and he fell to his knees with a thud.
"Hey, what that?", came a muffled voice. It seemed to be far away, perhaps though a wall. Still, it had a strange bestial quality to it that Zabuza wasn't sure he liked. Wincing, Zabuza once more got to his feet, careful to not bang his head this time. His back pressed up against the top of the unyielding cage. Just as he did so, a door swung open and light filled the room. Zabuza looked around and took in the layout of the room quickly. It looked as if they were indeed on a ship. Nearby was another wooden cage that contained Ruto. The cage looked to be made of a very sturdy wood indeed. "Hey, what you do?", said a creature from the doorway. It stepped into the room with a grunt and squinted at Zabuza's cage. Knowing it was now or never, the ninja lashed out with one of his feet, kicking with all his might. The cages wooden bard splintered, and Zabuza darted through the opening. His kunai was still clutched tightly in his mouth, and he jumped directly at the creature. Zabuza rushed under the creature's guard and whipped his head to the side, cleanly cutting the creature's throat. Foul blood squirted all over Zabuza's body, and the creature fell to the floor with a thud. Zabuza took a moment to look it over and saw that it seemed like a strange cross between a pig and a man. He heard Ruto gasp in disgust and turned toward her. She was staring at the blood still fountaining from he creature's throat in amazement. Zabuza heard a grunt behind him, and he whirled just in time to dodge a heavy axe that would have cleaved him in two had it connected. He darted in, and the creature wielding it didn't get a second chance.
More of the creatures began to rush through the open door, weapons in hand. Their powerful strikes forced the ninja to dodge back and forth, striking exposed bits of their flesh with the kunai. Abruptly he found himself pinned in a corner with three spears coming at him. From the creature's sick grins, they clearly thought they had the ninja. Zabuza would had laughed if the kunai wasn't blocking his mouth. His foot lashed out, kicking the wall behind him. The force of the blow cracked the wall and propelled the ninja past the creature's weapons in the blink of an eye. His kunai flashed in the light from the open door, and more of the creature's foul blood was spilled on the floor. The footing was quite unstable now, but there were only three of the creatures left alive. One of the three turned toward the door and started to run. "Zabuza, don't let it get away!", yelled Ruto.
Zabuza leaped over the heads of the remaining two creatures, causing them to turn to follow him. As they did so, they slipped on the bloody floor and tumbled to the ground. Zabuza flicked his head to the side as fast as he could and let go of the kunai. It streaked out the door and lodged it's self in the back of the fleeing creature's neck. It didn't even make a sound as it's spinal chord was severed and it dropped to the deck. Zabuza turned on the two remaining creature as they were trying to get to their feel. Zabuza's foot moved like lightning, catching one of the creatures in the temple. There was a wet cracking sound, and the creature fell to the deck and lay still.
Ruto watched the whole fight in horrified fascination. She had never seen such an effective killing machine as Zabuza. She watched as he kicked the last creature in the chest, knocking it over. Zabuza jumped at the creature. He landed on it's head, feet first. The creature's head popped from the pressure, and it's brains splattered out onto the floor. Ruto felt as if she was going to be sick. Zabuza stood in the mess that had once been the creature's head for a moment, almost as if lost in thought. He was almost completely covered with the foul, blackish blood of the creatures he had slain. Then, quite suddenly, he collapsed to the deck, unconscious.
Zabuza awoke several hours later as Ruto dabbed his face with a wet cloth. He tried to sit up, but the pain stopped him. "Don't. You need to rest.", said Ruto. "What...happened?", he asked. "You killed the creatures that had us captive. I guess the drug hadn't completely worn off, because as soon as you were finished you collapsed. Luckily one of the creature's weapons had fallen partly in my cage, and I managed to use it to cut the ropes that bound my arms. It took me a while, but I managed to get free of the cage. I looked around, and we were on a boat heading down a river. I'm not sure where we are exactly, but I managed to beach it and carry you to land.", said Ruto. "Did...you find our...weapons?", said Zabuza. His voice came out pained, and Ruto smiled at him. "Of course, I even got the little dagger you used to kill the creatures. All of our things were in a large chest. I had to clean it and you up...you were completely covered in their smelly blood." "Thank you, but it wouldn't be the first time. I..." Zabuza's voice trailed off as he belatedly realized that his head was lying comfortably on the Zora woman's lap. A slight blush colored his face as she smiled down at him. "You know, for being such a big brave ninja, you sure do get embarrassed about the silliest things. Honestly, would you prefer that I put you head on one of the hard rocks around here?" Zabuza, unsure about what to say, lapsed gratefully into unconsciousness.
