Zabuza awoke several hours later, feeling much improved. His headache was completely gone, and he had regained much of his strength. His head was still in Ruto's lap, though from that position it appeared to him that she had fallen asleep. Trying not to wake her, Zabuza sat up carefully. Ruto continued to breath softly with her back against a large boulder. Zabuza smiled. He saw the stack of their weapons nearby and walked over to them. Careful to be silent, he picked up all of his and returned them to their proper places. The ninja's stomach rumbled, and he realized that they didn't have any food left. Zabuza sighed and walked toward the sound of water, Perhaps he could catch some fish to cook, though they had nothing to go with it. The river was surrounded by many bushes, and Zabuza became hopeful. He started searching them, looking for some sort of berries. He carefully parted two of the bushes and promptly fell over backward as a large blue bird leaped over his head, trying to get away. Zabuza did nothing to stop the bird, realizing that it was a harmless Chocobo. Still spooked by the ninja, the wild bird ran and leaped into the river. It swam away with quick, confident strokes of it's large feet. Zabuza marveled at it's speed, and the bird was soon out of sight down the river. Once the bird was gone, Zabuza concentrated his chakra into his feet and walked out carefully over the water. It had been a while since he had used this trick, but he was still good at it. The water held, and Zabuza walked out to the middle of the slow moving river. "Suirou no Jutsu!" (Water Prison Technique), yelled Zabuza. He reached down with his hand and touched the surface of the water. With a grunt, he lifted up a huge globe of water and walked to the shore with it. Inside he could see shapes moving, and he hoped they were fish. Once he reached land, he saw Ruto step out of the bushes he had come through. She had her weapons as well and looked like she was ready to get moving.
"Well, looks like you have recovered enough...what are you doing?", she asked. "Trying to find food. I think I got some fish in here.", said Zabuza. He peered into the murky water at the struggling shapes. "Well, bring it further up here from the river and let it go. I'm sure we can catch anything good before it gets to the water.", said Ruto. Zabuza nodded and walked a good distance away from the river before letting the globe of water go. When he did so, water splashed everywhere. Creatures flopped and scuttled toward the stream, and Ruto used her spear to impale several fish. Hoping to catch something good, Zabuza reached into his pocket and pulled out several kunai. He threw them quickly, transfixing several fish and a few other miscellaneous creatures. "God work Zabuza! There is enough here to last us several days if we can keep it from spoiling!", exclaimed Ruto. She bent over and started picking up the better of the dead creatures. Zabuza, not knowing what was good, decided to busy himself starting a fire. Soon the ninja had a fire blazing, and Ruto was cleaning the fish. Zabuza retrieved one of his kunai and wiped the cold fish blood off of them. He carefully placed them back in their places and watched Ruto work. "This is a really good catch, some of these are really good to eat! Look at that crab I got...it's huge! I should go fishing with you more often...that it quite a handy fishing skill you have there.", said Ruto. She continued cleaning out fish guts with one of Zabuza's kunai while talking. "It's not a fishing skill...it's a combat one.", said Zabuza. He put his hands behind his head and leaned up against a tree. "Well, I guess it could be used for that, but it seems to have many used to me." "I suppose it does.", said Zabuza. He pulled his blade from his back and sliced upward at the tree, slicing off several thing branches. He used one of his kunai to quickly chop them into serviceable skewers for the fish. When he finished, he began to impale the recently cleaned fish and place them over the fire. "Hey, Zabuza, try this!", said Ruto. She handed the ninja a large crab leg, obviously uncooked. Shrugging, the ninja cracked it open and tasted the meat. To his surprise, it was some of the best he had ever tasted. "I'm surprised you eat it raw. Most other peoples around here refuse, but they loose most of their flavor when you cook them.", said Ruto. She held a leg as well in her hand. She broke it in two with a quick snap and sucked the delicious meat out. "I told you before, I like sushi. Also, you're my knowledgeable guide. I trust your judgment, and that isn't something I say about many people." "Aww, that's sweet. Here, have another leg.", said Ruto. She passed another shelled leg to Zabuza who accepted it gratefully.
Before long, the entire catch was cooked. Zabuza looked at the leftovers and pondered the best way to transport them. It was warm out, and they would probably spoil quickly. 'Let me help you with that, Boss.', said a voice in Zabuza's head. Shocked, he looked up and saw Kooridora sitting in a tree above his head. He hadn't even heard the small dragon land. "How did you find us?", asked Zabuza. 'Oh, me and Mizudora heard some people talking about you being taken on that ship. We have been flying around, looking for you ever since we found it wrecked on the beach.' Ruto looked up at the smile white dragon and grinned. "It figures you would show up now that there is food around. Still, we have plenty. You can have some if you want." 'No thanks, me and Mizudora already ate most of the heads and guts you threw behind those bushes over there. In fact, if you look, Mizudora is probably still there chowing down.' Sure enough, when Ruto went to investigate she found a small blue dragon with a very full belly and a contented grin on his snout. 'You "people" always leave the best parts', said the blue. He let out a tiny belch and waddled over to the fire to warm himself. Zabuza placed the leftover meat in an extra pouch Ruto had and set it in front of Kooridora's perch. The white dragon flew down and landed next to the bag, looking it over. The tiny white dragon poked his snout into the bag's opening and he breathed on the fish. After a few such breaths, the fish were completely frozen. Zabuza picked up the bad and struck it with his knuckle. Sure enough, it had become rock hard from the tiny dragon's breath. "Well, I suppose we should get going. Ruto, I have been meaning to ask...what happened to the black Chocobo?", said Zabuza. "Oh...uh, well, you see, those creatures...they ate it. I'm sorry Zabuza.", said Ruto. "...Shit." "Ah well, it shouldn't be too bad on foot if we stick near the water.", said Ruto optimistically. "I have a better idea...I saw a blue Chocobo when I went to the river...we might be able to catch it. Did you bring the saddle?", said Zabuza. "Yes, I brought it. It's over there by that tree. I thought there might be something of value hidden in it, knowing you." "Good...", said Zabuza.
OOC: Oh teh noes! Those bastards ate the Chocobo! Oh well, I guess I will have to catch another one...

Link went into the next room and saw nothing, he broke some pots and found some fairies, he used one to heal him and decided to used the others later.
"Now Link, focus all your energy into your hands and think about fire coming out of them." He heard Roku's voice say. He nodded and focused his energy into his hands and thought about fire coming out of them, this produced a small flame, about the size of his fist, he smiled and thought it was good, but he decided he could do better, he once again focused his energy into his hands and thought about fire coming out of them, this time the flame was bigger, but it still wasn't good enough, so he trained again. This time it made a narrow stream that hit the wall in front of him, "I'll never be able to do this!" He yelled with rage, as he said it a huge flame came out and hit the wall, he tried it once more just to make sure it wasn't his imagination. This time it burnt the wall, and a door was opened up.
"Good Link, now go into the next room and prove you have the power of fire."

Link went into the next room, and saw some Stelfo's, he took out his sword and tried to cut them, but nothing happened, the sword just bounced off them, he remembered Roku saying to prove he had the power of Fire, so he focused his energy into his hands, and thought about fire. A huge jet of fire came out of them and took out a Stelfo, he held it for as long as he could and moved his hands, it took out all the Stelfo's with one attack.
"Good Link, now go into the next and you will learn the power of Water."
OOC: Sorry about the small sucky post, I didn't get to post yesterday, and I only have two hours of sleep.

Link walked into the next room only to find nothing, "Now Link, do what you did in the Fire room, focus your energy into your hands and think about water coming out of them."
Link put his hands together and after about ten tries he made a jet of water come out of them.
"Good now go into the next room and fight the Stelfo's in there, you must use Water to break their fire shield."
Link opened the door and saw three Stelfos, he made the jet of water come out of his hands and broke all their shields. After he did that he spun around and killed them all.
"Good Link, now go into the final room and defeat the monster."
Link opened the door and saw nothing he walked to the middle of the room and looked around, then he heard a noise, he looked around and saw a red monster jumping at him, he jumped out of the was and tried to slash the monster, but the sword bounced off of it, he made the jet of Fire come out of his hands and hit the monster, it collapsed to the ground turning a pale white, Link unsheathed his sword and jumped at the creature, stabbing it in it's back, the monster disappeared into nothing. Link sheathed his sword and went to the door, he tried to open it but it was still locked, How looked around but could find nothing, just an empty room, then he was pushed back by and blast of water, he got up and dodged the next blast, he put his hands together and did the same, the blasts met, Link was trying to push the monsters back to it, but the monster was too strong, Link let his go and jumped over the monster, he used water and hit the back of the monsters head, it turned white and fell to the ground, Link jumped of it's back and stabbed it in it's head. This time it separated into two sections, one was red and the other blue, the two went into Link. He walked towards the exit, but before he could get to it, he was back in the Temple of Time with Roku.
"Good Link, not only have you gotten stronger, but you have also learned Fire and Water, now go and find Princess Ruto and Momochi Zabuza."
Link nodded and walked out, "I'll be back to learn the others... In time."
OOC: Okay I have Learned Fire and Water, I also gain 10Hp and 15 other points for training, but also I gain and extra level. I want 10 to go to Power, Magic, Speed, and Accuracy, and I want 5 to go to Intelligence, Self-Control, and Determination. I also gain 60hp for the training and level.

Zabuza hoped this would work. It had taken him several days to find the creature, and he had stumbled upon it by blind luck. Even more luckily, the bird was asleep. Retreating carefully, he had formed a plan as to how to capture the beast. Any minute now, it would... Suddenly the Chocobo burst through the bushes, running toward the water. Ruto was right behind it, running as fast as she could. The bird was fast, and it soon outpaced the Zora and jumped into the water. It kicked it's feet and began to swim rapidly away from Ruto, trying to get some distance. Zabuza sprung up from his hiding place under the water and grabbed the bird around it's neck. The creature panicked and snapped at Zabuza, trying frantically to escape. Still, as fast as the bird was, the ninja was faster. In almost no time at all, Zabuza managed to climb on to the struggling creature's back. The blue Chocobo let out a distressed "Wark!" and tried it's best to buck the ninja off of it's back. It rolled in the water, trying to dislodge Zabuza. Try as it might, the bird was unable to rid it's self on the ninja in the water. In one last bid for freedom, the Chocobo jumped out of the water and ran into a stand of trees, Zabuza still clinging to it's back. The large blue bird shook it's self frantically and slammed Zabuza's body into the surrounding trees. Limbs snapped and fell to the ground, and leaves flew everywhere. The Chocobo made another distressed "Wark!" and fell heavily to the ground. The bird was breathing heavily, but it was too tired to fight any more.
"You did it Zabuza!", yelled Ruto happily. She ran up to the spot where the Chocobo lay, the ninja still affixed firmly to it's back. "How did you manage to stay one?", asked Ruto. "I used my chakra to stick to it...had I tried to hold on with my hands, I might have injured the bird.", said Zabuza. He rolled off of the unfortunate Chocobo and reached for the saddle Ruto was carrying. He gently placed it on the Chocobo's back and tied it in place, making sure the bird couldn't pull it off. The Chocobo simply lay there, defeated. "Here, give it some of these greens I found on the bank. It seems to like eating them.", said Ruto. She handed Zabuza a pile of leafy green plants, freshly picked. Zabuza placed the pile of greens in front of the Chocobo's beak. The bird stared at the ninja hard for a few moments, it's breathing still heavy. Then, carefully, the bird began to pick up the plants with it's beak and swallow them. "That's a good bird. Behave, and we will get along fine.", said Zabuza. He carefully began to stroke the Chocobo's head, trying to get it used to his touch. The bird didn't seem to have a problem with it, and continued eating the pile of plants enthusiastically. "Well, it looks like we have our ride back.", said Ruto. "Yes, but I don't believe that it is as strong as the last one. We will have to be careful with it...it's not as tame either.", said Zabuza. Having recovered some, the Chocobo got to it's feet and stared at the two adventurers for a few moments. Zabuza grabbed it's reins and hopped into the saddle. The bird made a startled grunt, but did not protest. "Come on Ruto, we have wasted enough time.", said Zabuza. He held out his hand to the Zora Princess. Ruto nodded and grabbed his hand, pulling herself into the saddle behind the ninja. "We should follow the river. Many towns and built next to the water, and we might even run into some Zoras. They could give us directions pretty easily.", said Ruto as she put her arms around Zabuza's waist. Zabuza nodded and gently nudged the Chocobo into motion. The bird set out at a walk, following the path of the stream. Ruto tightened her grip on the ninja, making sure to not fall off. "I hope Link is all right...I would hate it if he were hurt while we were so far away...", said Ruto. "He will be fine.", was Zabuza's only comment.
OOC: Replaced the old bird with one of lesser quality. Also, I updated Link.

Zabuza had been following the path of the river for several hours before they saw any signs of life. It seemed that there was a town up river from them. A large bridge spanned the river, providing an easy means of crossing. The river had grown quite deep and swift by this point, so a bridge was needed. "Zabuza...I've never seen this town before. I think we're in another part of Hyrule completely. How long were we out...", said Ruto. "I don't know, but it doesn't matter. One places is as strange as any other to me in this place. Let's go in and see if we can find out where we are.", said Zabuza. He gently guided the Chocobo on to a road that lead to the town. The swift bird was soon almost at the town's gate. A small sign marked the road, and Zabuza haulted the Chocobo to read it. "Saria Town...that sounds familiar to me.", said Zabuza. "It should...", said Ruto. "I know a Saria...she was a friend of Link and a fellow Sage." "It must be a coincidence, I'm sure. Let's go in.", said Zabuza. He gently nudged the Chocobo, and the blue bird happily strolled into the town. Zabuza could tell from the first person that he saw that they weren't going to find much help here. From the man's glare, he could tell they didn't like strangers here. Still, he had to try. "You there. Which way to Hyrule Castle?", said Zabuza. The man sneered at Zabuza and recieved a glare for his trouble. The man gulped, intimidated by ninja. "You're quite lost if you're looking for Hyrule Castle. That's in a completely different part of the land.", said the man. Not liking the look on Zabzua's face, the man quickly scurried away. Zabuza shrugged and guided his mount deeper into the town. Here and there people roamed the street, but when they saw the ninja they stayed well clear. Then, off ot the side, something caught the ninja's eye. He smirked a little and turned the Chocobo down a nearby alley.
"Zabuza, I don't like this town. It's...weird.", said Ruto. "It is clear we are not welcome here. Perhaps we should leave.", said Zabuza. "Oh, it's too late for that I'm afraid.", came a familiar voice from behind the pair. Always ready for trouble, Zabuza jumped off of the Chocobo and unsheathed his sword in one fluid motion. Ruto wasn't far behind him, her spear held ready. "Hah, you fool. As if the two of you could defeat me. This is my land now, you will never leave it alive.", said the voice of Ganondorf. The evil man floated a few feet off of the ground, his cloak billowing in the wind. "Don't underestimate me, fool!", said Zabuza. Ganondorf gulped as he felt a cold blade touch the base of his neck. Before his eyes, the Zabuza that had been on the Chocobo turned translucent and collapsed with a splash. "An interesting technique, but I think I have a better one.", said Ganondorf. As quickly as he had appeared, he disappeared. Zabuza thrust his sword forward, knowing he was already too late. Sure enough, the sharp blade pierced only air. "See what I mean? Fighting back is futile. You can't defeat me.", said Ganondorf. He Gerudo reappeared in mid air, several feet away. "I have battled worse than you in my day.", said Zabuza. He sheathed his sword and glared at the Gerudo King, as if daring him to make another move. "What you do is nothing but a simple parlor trick compared to some of the skills I have faced in my day.", said Zabuza. He crossed his arms and turned away from Ganondorf in contempt. "So you think. Still, you were able to defeat my dragon. You're not as powerful as me, but I could use a man like you to be my General." "As if I would help you." "Don't be so hasty. I saw what you did to my Molblins on that boat, and with your arms tied too. I would hate to waste sucha capable warrior as you by simply killing you." "As if you could.", said Zabuza. The ninja smirked as Ganondorf's face darkened with anger. Ruto simply held her place, her spear at the ready. "This is your last chance to join me, fool. If you don't nothing but destruction awaits you, just as it awaits your "friend" Link. I have more power than you can possibly imagine!", shouted Ganondorf. "No." "Then die!", yelled Ganondorf. His eyes began to glow with power, and energy started to collect around his hands. Zabuza simply stood there, smirking. Ganondorf collected a huge ball of dark energy and raised it over his head. "For your insolence, you will suffer for eternity at the hands of my-" A foot impacted the side of Ganondor'f head with a dull crack. Ganondorf slammed into the side of a building, the energy in his hands dissipating. "Who dares!??!", shouted Ganondorf groggily. "You talk too much.", responded Zabuza. The ninja that Ganondorf had been speaking to turned translucent and popped with a splash, spiling water all over the road. "Far too much.", said the real Zabuza. He stood on the ground, right next to where Ganondorf had been floating. "How...that's impossible! You dare to strike me!", screamed Ganondorf in rage. The evil Gerudo climbed to his feet quickly, his body shaking with fury. Even as he stood up, several kunai buried themselves in Ganondorf's clothing, pinning him to the wall. Ganondorf's eyes flew wide with shock. He hadn't even seen Zabuza throw them. "Know this. You are nothing compared to me.", said Zabuza. He slowly advanced on Ganondorf, a kunai in his hand. In no time he was face to face with the Evil Gerudo King. "The only reason that I have not killed you is that Link wants that satisfaction for himself. If you ever cross me again, I will slit your throat before you get the chance to even speak a word. You got that?", said Zabuza. He placed the kunai's tip directly against Ganondorf's throat, drawing a small amount of blood. For his part, the Gerudo King managed to not look terrified. "You can't slay me with a weapon like that. I have the power of the Triforce. Normal weapons can cut me, make me bleed, but they cannot destroy me.", said Ganondorf. Even as he said so, he began to visibly regain confidence. "Then perhaps I will use on that isn't so normal.", said Zabuza. The ninja's knee flew through the air, catching Ganondorf in the gut. The power of the ninja's blow cracked the wall behind the evil Gerudo. The kunai dropped from their places, releasing the evil man. Ganondorf doubled over in pain and vomited noisily in the street. Again Zabuza's foot flicked out, catching Ganondorf in the side of the head. The evil man flew several feet down the alley, slamming into a large pile of garbage. Completely ignoring the injured Ganondorf, Zabuza gathered up his kunai and replaced them in his clothing. He strode back to his Blue Chocobo and jumped into the saddle. Once securely in place, Zabuza reached his hand out to help Ruto into her place. Within seconds they were on their way, leaving the so called King of Evil vomiting ina pile of trash. Not a word passed between the two until they were out of the town.
"Oh my GOD that was awesome Zabuza! I've never seen anyone do that to Ganondorf! You were amazing!", said Ruto. He rode behind Zabuza, clutching him tightly and grinning. "It was nothing. He doesn't pay attention.", said Zabuza. "Still though, you gave him an ass beating the likes of which he will never forget!", said Ruto. She laughed a little, remembering the sight of the Gerudo King vomiting in a pile of garbage. "Still...was it wise to leave him alive? You probably could have killed him.", said Ruto. "He is not my enemy. Besides, I had to teach him a lesson about what it means to trifle with a ninja.", said Zabuza. He made a small course correction, making sure his Chocobo would stay on the path. "Still...there had to be something we could do." "There was, and I did it. I destroyed his confidence.", said Zabuza. "Unless he finds some new power, he will be easy enough to defeat when the time comes." "Yeah, but he will try to get revenge on you for that. That man doesn't take anything lightly, especially what you did." "Oh? What is he going to do, try to kill us? He would have done that already if he could." "Hum...good point.", said Princess Ruto. The Zora woman stared over Zabuza's shoulder at the horizon, deep in thought. "Still...I can't help but feeling that that was a mistake. He was bad before, but I just have this feeling that it will be ten times worse for us from now on.", she said.
OOC: You see kids, this is why you don't mess with a ninja. heh.

Despite the Zora woman's predictions, the next few weeks were quite uneventful. Other than spending much of their time lost and wandering, it could almost be said that the trip was fun. Though Zabuza knew he should be spending his time training, he just couldn't bring himself to spend much time developing his already impressive abilities. It wasn't that he was arrogant or lazy, it was just that for some reason, he lacked the will. In the past few weeks his blood lust had dwindled and disappeared. The Demon lurking in his mind was quite, and he was at peace. He should have known that peace would never last for a man like him.
Zabuza guided the Blue Chocobo through the trees carefully. Ruto was asleep in the saddle behind him, and tried his best to not wake her up. The two small Dragons were perched on his shoulders, keeping watch for anything troublesome. Though they had encountered no resistance in the forest, Zabuza had a bad feeling about the place. It seemed cheerful enough, considering the dark forces that roamed the land. Game was plentiful, but still Zabuza mistrusted the place. It was too peaceful...he hadn't encountered as much as a single minion of Ganondorf the whole time they had been wandering. It wasn't like such an evil man to give up so easily. 'Looks like I finally found you.', said a voice in Zabuza's head. The ninja's eyes widened in surprise, he hadn't even sensed anyone approach. 'Surprised to hear a voice after so long in this forest? Well, you should be. It's a trap you know. I am the witch send by the Great Ganondorf to impede your progress. I tell you this now because it is already too late for you.', said the voice. It cackled evilly in his mind, annoying him greatly. "Begone spirit. If you wake my companion up, I will be forced to destroy you.", said Zabuza aloud. Though he kept his voice down to avoid waking up the Princess, his tone was like iron. 'Ooh, big scary man! You have spent this long wandering and never noticed that there is no end to this place? My power has sealed this forest off from the rest of Hyrule, you can never return unless I wish it. Still, it has been boring searching for you in these woods, and I have a little present to deliver to you from my lord, the King of Evil.', said the voice. It began to chant ominously in Zabuza's head. The language was no tongue he had ever heard spoken before, and it screamed evil intent with each word. Still, Zabuza was not afraid. "If a simple spell is the best you can do, you are no match for me. Release us from this forest and I will allow you to live.", said Zabuza. Even as he said this, a burning sensation began to spread across his forehead. Wide eyed, the ninja quickly unsheathed his huge blade from it's sheath on the side of the Chocobo and looked at his reflection in the gleaming metal. A black shape was writhing around on his forehead. As he watched, it's movements slowed and it settled into a pattern. The symbol looked much like a seal to him...and one that meant no good he was sure. "What have you done witch?", he snarled. Ruto stirred in her place behind him, but she remained asleep. 'Oh, nothing. That has always been there, it just took time to come out. That is the symbol of a dragon of the Earth. It will give you great power...but it is also cursed. It is quite a piece of work actually..not of my doing, but quite a piece of art really. That has been the secret to your strength all along. That mark is what powers the demon in your mind...the demon I just set free.' "You did WHAT!??!". shouted Zabuza. The witch cackled in his head once more, then he felt her presence disappear. "What's the matter?", asked Ruto. She blinked rapidly, trying to clear the sleep from her eyes. He turned and looked into her face, and she gasped in horror. "What happened to your face?!?" "It's a curse seal...we have been trapped in this forest the whole time by a witch, and she did this to me...", said the ninja. Already, he could feel the devil contained in his mind gaining strength from the mark. It was writhing around angrily, attempting to escape. "Ruto, I need you to get out of here now. Take the Chocobo and the dragons, and ride away as fast as you can.", said Zabuza. He quickly dismounted. "Zabuza, what is going on? I don't understand!" "Just GO!", shouted Zabuza. Then ninja fell to his knees and clutched at dead leaves on the ground, straining to hold the Demon in. "I'm not leaving you like this...anything could happen." "You must! It's going to escape, and it will kill you for sport if it does! Go!", shouted Zabuza. His hand shot out and grabbed the handle of his sword from it's sheath on the Chocobo's side. The blade flashed in the dim forest light. The flat of the blade found it's mark...the Chocobo's backside. The large blue bird let out a startled "Wark!", and raced off into the forest, Ruto still protesting.
As she disappeared through the trees, the mark on Zabuza's head began to glow with energy. Pain shot through his mind, so severe that it made even the hardened ninja scream in agony. Evil laughter sounded in his head, and he knew that he had lost. With a puff of smoke, the Demon appeared sitting next to a nearby tree. "It's been a long time Zabuza. Far too long. You kept me locked up in the corner of your mind for quite some time, but I am finally free once more. As you can see, I have become a true Dragon of the Earth.", said the Demon. It pointed to a strange mark on it's left arm, and Zabuza had no doubt that what it said was true. "What...will you do?", asked the weary ninja. "Well, once I make my way out of the forest...after killing you and your friends of course, I will destroy the world.", said the Demon. It grinned, revealing a row of fangs. "That's a foolish thing to do. The world is where you are...if you destroy it, you destroy yourself too.", said Zabuza. His grip tightened on his sword. "You would think that, but that simply isn't true for a Dragon of the Earth. We are destined to destroy all worlds, or die in the attempt. When I destroy this world, I will move on to the next...and the next...and so on until there are no more worlds left. Then, I too will die. Still, being one of the last beings alive does have sort of a strange appeal to it.", said the Demon. It stood up and pulled a sword out from behind it's back. It was nearly a twin blade to Zabuza's own, though the light reflected off of it was far more sinister. Zabuza got to his feet and dropped into a fighting stance. The Devil mimicked his movements exactly, it's huge blade a parallel to his own. "I can't let you hurt the people I care about.", said Zabuza. "I know...and that is one of the reasons why I am going to kill you.", said the Demon.
The two blades met seemingly of their own accord. sparks danced through the air where the blades met, leaving a strange afterimage in the sword's wake. The sound of steel clashing against steel rang through the forest. Anyone watching the battle would have been shocked at the sheer speed of both of the combatants. "We are one and the same...neither of us can beat the other.", said Zabuza during a momentary lapse in the fighting. "That was true last time...but not any more. I am a Dragon of the Earth.", said the Demon. The symbol on it's arm began to glow red, and a sickly red light began to sine from it's skin. It looked to Zabuza to be the same shade as human blood, and if anyone knew that color it was him. The Demon launched it's self at him again, but this time Zabuza found himself completely on the defensive. The creature's strength had increased dramatically, but his hadn't changed at all. Slowly but surely, the Demon's powerful blows began to numb the ninja's hands. He knew that in moments his blade would be swept from his hands, and the creature would end him. Desperate, Zabuza lunged recklessly at the Demon. The creature made no attempt to dodge, instead it simply stood there grinning. Zabuza's blade bit deep into it's torso...and the creature's blade found it's way between Zabuza's ribs. Numb with shock, Zabuza collapsed tot he ground, blood spurting from the wound in his torso. He could barely breath, and he knew that one of his lungs was punctured. He could hear the creature's gloating laugh, but it seemed strangely distant. "Zabuza, NO!!", shouted a voice. He managed to turn his head to the side and see Ruto, staring in horror at him as he lay In a pool of his own blood. "No...I told you to run...", said the ninja. Perhaps realizing that the ninja was finished, the Demon advanced slowly toward the Zora Princess. Shrieking in fury, the Zora grabbed her spear and leaped at the Demon, the point of her weapon flashing directly at it's face. Even as he lay dieing, Zabuza knew that she couldn't defeat this opponent. 'Do you wish to save her?', spoke a voice in his head. Unlike the shrill voice of the witch, this voice was deep and calm. 'I do...but I can't...I can't move any more...', thought Zabuza. His vision began to gray, but he could still see Ruto slashing hopelessly at the creature with her weapon. She simply wasn't fast enough to score a hit, and the Devil was taking it's time, playing with her. 'Oh, you can if you truly desire it...but you must accept me. I can give you the power to vanquish your foe...but in accepting it, you will be cursed. I won't lie to you. You wail gain much strength...but you will be doomed to battle the Dragons of the Earth if you accept me.' 'If it...will save her...I don't care...I'll do it...", said Zabuza. 'I was hoping you would say that.'
"You aren't very interesting prey, fish woman. I don't know what he sees in you. You can't even hit me.", taunted the Demon. It's blade easily batted away the Zora's angry strikes as if they were nothing. "Well, I think it is time to end this before Zabuza dies...I want the last thing he sees before the darkness takes him to be my blade piercing your heart.", said the creature. It grinned cruelly and lashed out with a speed that Ruto knew she couldn't match. The point of it's blade streaked directly at her heart, and she knew she was done for. She closed her eyes as a tear rolled down her cheek. There was a sound much like a cleaver hitting flesh, and she opened her eyes in shock. She hadn't felt any pain. There, standing in front of here, was Zabuza. He glowed a strange white color, and his wounds had already sealed. The Demon's blade was clutched firmly in Zabuza's left hand, it's razor edge drawing only a thing trickle of blood from the ninja. "No, this can't be!", screamed the Demon. "You can't be a Dragon of the Heavens! You can't! I would have sensed it long ago!" "I don't know what any of this means, but you are through Demon! It is time for you to go back to your cage...and this time, you won't return. The Demon stared in wide eyed horror at the angry ninja. It let go of the handle of it's blade and turned to run into the forest, desperate to escape. Even as it did so, it felt it's self being drawn back toward Zabuza. It fell to the ground, trying to use it's claws to pull it's self away from it's glowing foe. It didn't help. The Demon lost it's grip rapidly and it flew through the air, shrinking. When is was no bigger than a coin, it struck Zabuza's head and sunk in, disappearing completely from view. All that the creature left behind was a last desperate scream. The white like surrounding Zabuza faded, and he began to fall. Ruto, who until this moment had been frozen by shock, tried to catch him. The large ninja was too much for her, and his weight bore them both to the ground anyway. He landed on top of the Zora Princess with a thud, and she found herself pinned to the ground beneath his weight. She tried to push him off, but she couldn't even move the much larger human. Annoyed by the situation and unable to do anything else, she stared at Zabuza. He seemed to be completely unconcious...but something strange caught her eye. On his left arm, a glowing mark appeared. It glowed red for a few moments, then was surrounded by another, white mark. Soon the two marks stopped glowing, and they looked to be some sort of strange red and white tattoo. Puzzled, Ruto stared at the marks, trying to make sense of the whole thing. Zabuza groaned and opened his eye. He looked directly into the eyes of the Zora Princess. They stared deep into each other's eyes for a full minute before Ruto broke the silence. "Zabuza"? "Yeah?" "Get off of me." Suddenly realizing the strange position that they were in, the ninja jumped to his feet. His cheeks burned red with embarrassment. "You could at least help a lady up.", said the Zora woman. Obligingly, Zabuza held out his hand to her. She took it and pulled herself up to a standing position. She brushed the dirt and dead leaves off of herself without a word, then, much to Zabuza's surprise, she lunged at him. Taken off balance, the ninja could do nothing but fall backward under the Zora's weight. Her arms latched around him, and she held on tight. "Oh Zabuza, I though you were dead! How could you let something like that happen? You know without you this world is probably doomed! How could you be so irresponsible?! You would have left me all alone in this forest too!" The words poured from the Zora's mouth even as tears poured forth from her eyes. Unsure what else to do, Zabuza simply lay there, being squeezed and ranted at. When Ruto finally wound down and ran out of words, Zabuza carefully wiped a tear from her cheek with one of his fingers. "You should know me better than that. I told you I will protect you, and I will no matter what the cost.", said Zabuza. The Zora laid her head on Zabuza's armored chest and continued to cry, though her tears had slowed considerably. She still held him tight with surprising strength. He didn't think he could pull her off, even if he wanted to. A few minuted later, Zabuza realized that Ruto had fallen asleep, still clinging to him. She had been quite tired before all this happened, and he knew the stress of the situation had taken it's toll on her. Rather than wake her, he simply left himself drift off to sleep as well. Nearby, the two small dragons guided the Chocobo to a tree and managed to tie it up so it couldn't run away. 'You know, sometimes I think that dragons are the only ones with any sense.', said Mizudora. 'Tell me about it.', responded Kooridora.
OOC: I'm a bit out of practice, but I hope someone finds this interesting. I finished learning both Dragon of the Earth and Dragon of the Heavens, so when Zabuza wakes up he will find himself far more powerful that before...but even more conflicted. There were errors galore in this post, so I will be quite surprised if I didn't miss any when checking over it.

Link walked a little more into the room. He saw what seemed to be a statue. He went to touch it and it moved. It jumped back, slashing at Link with it's huge sword.
Link jumped to dodge and attacked it with the sword. Knocking off a peice of it's armor.
"Hmm, I guess I have to get it all off." He said to himself.
He repeated the process and finally got all the armor off of it. It then threw it's sword at Link.
Link jumped out of the way, hearing the sword whiz by. Then the enemy pulled out a long skinny sword. Link jumped at it and it blocked, without it's armor it was faster. Link finally got a fatal blow in and it died.
OOC: Sorry about not posting for a LOOOOONNNNGGG time, but I have the Zelda RPG..... Which is doing very good. But yea, I might not post again for a while.
