“Mr…Zack, you’re needed at an important board meeting. Please get ready and follow me.”
“…Oh boy…ok, I’ll be right out.” Zack had gotten used to the poor conditions of his room and the poor times people decided to knock on the door. The soldiers weren’t allowed to have much, probably for reasons as this. A mid-aged woman was waiting for him in the hall. She seemed tired, or irritated. She repeated her message, and started walking.
Zack mostly knew his way around this part of the building, and started thinking to himself without paying much attention to his guide. A little brainstorming soon gave him another headache. It soon ran through him, almost making him fall over.
He managed to endure the pain until they finally reached the meeting office. Another wave hit him, this one worse, and he collapsed into a nearby chair after entering the room.
“Sir? Are you alright?” The woman started to grab Zack, but an official-looking man waved her off. She left without saying anything else.
“Can you stand son?” Another man on the board asked.
Without a reason, Zack felt a hate for these men. He climbed to his feet. “Yea, I’m just not good with first impressions.”
“Hmm.” He whispered something to another man, and turned back to Zack. “Have you ever trained here before?”
“Well, I started a few weeks ago.” Zack thought he was staring at a ghost. On a mountain. Another whisper came after his answer.
“How would you define your fellow trainees?”
‘What’s with all the questions?’ Zack thought to himself. “They’re ok, I guess.” Zack guessed another whisper. He guessed right.
“How would you like to join a stronger training regime?”
Zack was thrown off guard by the sudden change. “Well, I would like a…hey! Would you know about a certain person? He’s got…”
Zack was interrupted by a loud voice. He wasn’t even sure where it came from.
The voice boomed again. “We can’t release information about anyone. Legal issues. However, our offer still stands.”
Zack sighed. “Ok. Where do I sign up?”
(OOC): Heya. Changing my class to SOLDIER. Maybe someone in Midgar is impressed by my skills? Nah...
