As another night silently crept upon Zebulon, he decided to rent a hotel room and get a good night’s sleep. “Well, I have a little money, but I really should keep it for something critical.” Zebulon sat down by a huge fountain in the middle of the city, sighing with frustration. “What should I do?” Zebulon was staring at the ground, and noticed a shadow looming towards him. “Hmm? Do you need something sir?” A man in business attire told Zebulon with a gleam in his eye, “Well, I overheard your predicament. I was wondering if I could help.” Zebulon was unsure of the man’s intensions, but this was his only chance. “Well…ok sir. What can I do for you?”

Well, this is bizarre indeed. Zebulon was brought to the man’s backyard. He was filled in of his task. “Alright son, if you can get rid of the critters attacking my yard, I’ll pay for your hotel room tonight.” Zebulon wasn’t very experienced, so he jumped at the chance, thinking it was simple. “Sure, is that all? I’ll get on it right away.”

Zebulon had been trying to clear the field for hours now. “ <Sigh>. Well, this isn’t easy at all. Crap, what can I do!?” Zebulon looked around for an idea. “Hmm…nope…nope…ye…nope.” Zebulon couldn’t find anything of use for his subterranean problem. Err…problems. “Hmm…” Zebulon grabbed his stick and spear, realizing that they were his best bets. “Here…and here too.” Zebulon herded the little pests into his trap. “Ha! Gotcha!” Quickly reacting, he used his spear to finish the job. They had many more tunnels, so he had to kill them fast. Zebulon had only caught a glimpse of them before, but still didn’t recognize them. There were only two, but it was two too many. Gathering them, Zebulon sighed, “Ay. I’m sorry little ones. Please forgive me.” Zebulon ran out to a corner of the field and buried the furry critters. “Hmph. So full of life. And I had to take that away from them. Did I even have that right?” Returning to the man’s residence, he reported his success. The man never raised his eyes, keeping them on his newspaper. “Well, I have some bad news. The hotel was full, so you’ll have to sleep here.” Zebulon buckled under the news. He was glad to have a room for the night, but he didn’t like this man. He wasn’t even sure why, he just had a bad feeling… “Well, thank you sir. I appreciate it. I will retire now.” And that’s exactly what he did. The sooner morning came, the better.
(OOC): Did some training. Gained 10 hp, 10 gil, and of the 15 stat points, all in intelligence.
