“…” Light. Dark. “…” Light. Dark. “…” His eyes sunken, Zack slowly followed a nurse that walked into his room. She didn’t seem too nervous, quickly checking her clipboard. “So, feeling any better?” Zack nodded. “Kinda tired.” She grabbed a few tools from a nearby table. Zack repositioned himself for her tests. “I can’t remember much. Did you find me?” She started taking blood pressure. “No, you were brought here by a few soldiers. It’s the same. You know, you weren’t the first one brought here today.” Zack stared at the floor, a little nauseous from the “hospital smell”. A small light popped up on the wall. “Whew. It’s a busy day! I’ll be back in a few.” Zack laid back down, and watched her scurry out.
Minutes passed. And so did more. Eventually, Zack grew impatient. He felt much better than before, and had become used to the smell. Seeing his equipment in a corner, he got up, stretched, and left. He managed to get out without notice through all the chaos. “I shouldn’t be there; I’d only be in the way.” Just as he started to relax, he heard a voice from behind.
“Hey, get back here!” Throwing a glance back, Zack saw a soldier rushing at him. “Ah…I’ll get back to him later.” He dashed for a close set of back alleys, careening through them and everything within. “Crap…this one’s persistent.” The soldier was keeping up pretty well. Zack decided to end the race. He turned a corner, ducked into a shady alcove about halfway down the path, and tossed a box of ammo towards the other end of the path. <Crack!>. The box had thankfully not opened, and the foolish guard tried to follow it. Zack waited a safe time before he retrieved his priceless ammo. Approaching a side alley, he hid his face under his cape, and slipped into the main part of the city.
(OOC): Saturday training. This is also my fourth post, so I levels! Mmmk, I’ll take 10 gil, 60 hp, and 55 int.
